I've been going to Charlies Kitchen since 1988 and it's only gotten better over the decades. The new menu is great and of course you can still get the OG double cheeseburger. The service is always great. If you are in Harvard Square for the first time or after 3+ decades Charlies Kitchen is a must.

Listen..... from what I'm told this is a staple in Harvard Square. I'm unsure why. It's considered a dive bar but it just gives old place on the corner, not even a true dive. The tvs are super small and placed awkwardly in the bar. I ordered the crab Cakes, lobster roll, and mozzarella sticks. The crab Cakes were HORRIBLE. They were flat, mushy and mealy tasting. Updating: 3 to a 5. Newish bartender, handled the Sunday noon (11/2) crowd like a champ. Complete professional, exactly what we need as patrons, customer service. Nice dude and I will be going back because of the service upgrade. Thank you sir.
