Ordered the coconut cake and the mousse cake. The mousse cake was alright but nothing special. The coconut cake was so incredibly dry and past its prime. The service was great. Someone had taken my order but the staff fixed the issue right away. The place was so crowded that it was hard to move around. With that amount of people, I would’ve expected the food to be better.

Love Flour Bakery! My favorite Boston-area bakery, by far. Best combination of amazing food and reasonable prices. Sandwich orders can be slow occasionally, but worth the wait. Pastries out of this world. In ten years, only one less-than-perfect baked item (a dry piece of sour cream coffee cake), which outshines any place!

When is Black Friday? On that day, do you receive and pick up the rental cars from customers early in the morning? Will it be at the same official time of 5:00 AM?
Pumpkin chai latte perfection. I’ve had a lot of chai out and about but usually it’s overly sweet. This morning I tried the pumpkin chai latte and it was truly perfect. It was sweetened, and flavorful, and perfect! Hoping it comes to eerie st soon, but this was a nice detour for the perfect morning chai!

Delicious! Found this gem while visiting the MIT campus. Delicious bakery items, sandwiches and coffee. Went on a busy Saturday, line went quickly, coffee took less than 5 minutes and sandwiches about 12 minutes. The food did not disappoint!

I dropped in for a quick breakfast one morning, finding this as I walked down Mass. Ave. Glad I did. The parmesan and chive scone was absolutely fantastic, very buttery and soft. Quite tasty. I also had a cold brew coffee, which had a bit of a twang, like they added a caramel flavour shot (although I didn't order that). It was good, but different. And the prices for this were not bad in this day and age. If you come mid-morning you might not have a table. They have a few inside and out, but they fill quickly and a lot of people linger. On the downside, the service was very slow. A lot of this was due to people not knowing what they wanted to order when they got to the register, although adding a second server would help with this.
Dropped in for a late breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the available options and the speed of service. Coconut Cream Pie and Spicy Tomato Soup for breakfast? ✅✅ The food was yummy!
We always loved Flour. This time I ordered a Tuna Melt sandwich. It tasted super sour, and I barely tasted anything else. Then on the next day I felt a little sick. I think the tuna might be not fresh.
Enjoyed the avocado toast, the warm welcome and the nice place.
Bakery items obviously taste great, that’s the ONLY reason people keep coming here not for the atmosphere or service. The service is seriously lacking so if their food starts to slip in quality this place will not make it in this economy. I don’t expect anyone to hand me anything with a smile on their face and do a dance but at least do the job right and be conscious about your customers. Got a small ice black cold brew this morning takes about a second to make, and my order must've slipped through, that’s not where I have the problem because it happens. But if you see someone waiting for 15 minutes maybe don’t keep taking the orders of 10+ people in line and stop and ask them what they are waiting for. “Barista’s” also take their sweet time here, which I get this isn’t exactly a Dunkin either, but Flour’s coffee is sub-par so if you’re willing to wait 15 minutes for mediocre coffee, go for it. This isn’t my only instance here as I come here frequently, and I know what you’re thinking; why keep going if it’s so bad? Because this is close to my work and I just need espresso that isn’t some crappy packet coffee they offer at the office. For anyone who’s never been, I would only come for the bakery items as it’s a direct and quick transaction, and they all taste good. Get a good coffee at Mariposa up the street, they have house-made flavors and incredible service. Also let me be clear the service people are never rude or mean, they either just don’t care or are incompetent to do their job efficiently.
