Much of the time, this place is full of young families with loud children. So, if that's a dealbreaker for you, head to any other of the innumerable brunch locations in the area. However, I've found this place to be humbler, less "hip-oriented," and more genuinely focused on serving good food. The dish itself skillfully blended the spice of the curry with the sweetness of raisins, accompanied the crunch of walnuts.

This place is great for anyone with children! I stopped in with the two little ones I nanny for (age 5 & 1) this week and we had a fantastic experience. The staff was so kind and patient with us. There's a small play area in the back corner kids can play at and crayons at each table. Will definitely be back soon!

I came here about 6 yrs ago with a friend and her children knowing it was a kid-friendly establishment, and I don't recall how our meals were, so I won't talk about the past experience. This time around, I brought my sister-in-law, her husband, and our nephew. Full Moon is one of the few places I know of that has a play area and is advertised as kid-friendly. I talked this place up, stating how much fun my friends' kids had they last time we were there (which was true), and we were all looking forward to a judgment-free dinner where my nephew could play and we wouldn't have to chase him around as much. I was wrong about ALL of that. Let's talk about the ambiance first. It's fine... sort of like a cafe atmosphere with a little bit of kid-friendly stuff around. A giant wall chalkboard behind some of the tables (but not convenient for kids who may want to do artwork on the walls behind people sitting in front of it), paper covering all the tables with a cup of crayons on each table, and a small play area near the back that has a somewhat wobbly baby gate, and otherwise no fencing/blocking around the area to keep kids a little bit more contained. For some, that's not a huge deal, because they don't mind if their kid runs around a little bit... and I thought if ANY place would be OK with that, this would be the place. My nephew is only 18 months old, and is non-stop. So he ran around, and had some sort of toy with wheels in his hand, and ran through the restaurant. He was almost able to make it into the kitchen/staff area before my SIL caught him. She was scolded by a waitress, and the waitress said "We should try to keep the toys with wheels in the play area." My SIL apologized, but it felt unwelcoming. It was fairly obvious that my SIL didn't give her son a toy and tell him to run around with it and take it anywhere he wanted, and it's not like we were going to let him set it up over near the waitstaff and scoot around on it. Next, the food. BAD. So bad. We ordered a tapas plate, egg rolls, pulled pork sandwich, fish tacos, and a pizza. The egg rolls and pizza were clearly cheap frozen items. (We know kids don't care about the taste, but if I pay $19 for a tapas plate, I fully expect it to taste great and be fresh. It was basically a small dish of canned chickpeas with some weird tomato sauce on them, a few pieces of toasted cauliflower, a few fingerling potatoes cut in half with mayonnaise squirted on top out of a bottle, and greens with two long chunks of old dry cheese thrown on top). The fish tacos were full of something that looked like canned tuna, and my brother in law didn't eat more than one bite. I am not going to go into detail on every single dish, but the food was the worst I've had in a long time. I definitely am not going to bring family and friends back here... off to find other kid-friendly alternatives besides Chuck-e-Cheese.

This restaurant is a magical place where your kids can be kids, you can eat great food, and feel like everything is right in the world. My friend suffered a minor medical emergency today and not only were the staff courteous, but the owner herself came and sat at our table until we had the situation under control. She had an angelic calm presence, and put us all at ease. I can't begin to recommend this restaurant enough. Go, enjoy yourself, bring your family, and support this unicorn of a family-owned establishment.

Cozy small restaurant with great children play area, plenty of toys and books for little ones to keep them busy and happy while parents can enjoy a bite! Manu is good. We had the summer menu which have few vegetarian options, great taste and big portions. Children had pasta and Mac and cheese which was so delicious. I had hummus no picture though and it was a bit runny but ok. Coffee is great too. Service is very friendly. Definitely going back soon!

This is a great choice for a child friendly place. They have a dedicated indoor play area and multiple table activities. The menu is simple but the food was good. Definitely a place to try with young kids 2-10.

Fun place for a quick and tasty lunch. The tuna melt and asparagus sandwiches were very good. Place has a fun atmosphere, with a dedicated play area for small kids. Friendly service.

It lives up to its kid friendly reputation with a decent kids menu and lots of place for young kids to play while parents eat. But unfortunately service and food quality bring it down a couple of notches. My sandwich was so so. My husband did not enjoy his hubris rancheros - beans had no flavor and chorizo was spicy, but again no real flavor. The "fresh squeezed OJ" is actually from a carton. Service was spotty - they didn't know the specials, mixed up an order, and never came back to check on us. The kiddie play saves it, but don't think I'd head back. Not to mention Cambridge parking is an absolute bear.

Looking for a party at 7pm? Come to Full Moon, the place is chocked full of children on their 3rd or 4th winds playing in the children's corner and coloring on the black board, while parents enjoy beer and ice cream. Loud, but fun for kids, easy for parents and desserted by 730!

The friendly service will likely make you feel at home! I would recommend ordering the curry chicken salad as it is truly delightful.

My preferred spot for quality American food. I love it here. Nothing but pleasant experiences here. It has a nice interior. I can see why they have a lot of great reviews.
