Best chicken parm in the Boston area -- bar none. I also love how they have simple prepared food at the counter -- like thinly fried slices of eggplant; and spinach sauteed with garlic and olive oil. I'd love to try something else besides the chicken parm but it's so delicious I have to order it every time. Absolutely delicious turkey sandwich for lunch, prepared with care--flavorful tomatoes and peppers, fresh baguette, perfectly toasted, perfectly seasoned, perfectly drizzled with olive oil and balsamic. Ate it well past being full because it was so good. Thank you, Anis!

I love the village kitchen. It's best to call and make sure they're open, but when they are- excellent food and wonderful service. It's not fast- sometimes there's just an owner working, but old fashioned attentiveness to food and drink done right. Excellent meats, pastas, and sandwiches, but especially eggplant parmesan. And espresso!
