The yellowtail was great and sushi was good but the sashimi didn’t taste right - a little fishy (smell) and tuna felt frozen. Customer service was great as well - for the price, meh.
I love coming to Genki-Ya. The Cambridge location is nostalgic for me having grown up in Belmont, so I always try to come back to this one. The food is always delicious and hits the spot. The service is impeccably friendly, fast, and the atmosphere is cozy. I look forward to the next time I’m there to dine. P.S the Sunny roll is one of their bests!
Wandering around a dead spot in Cambridge. Honestly a wasteland of dunkin donuts, a closed Starbucks and a McDonalds. Not really a cuisine area. But there are a couple of places here. Decided on the Japanese and was pleased with it. Had the steak on rice and a banana, cream cheese and avacdo roll and a beer. It was all well presented. Lost a star as the rice was a little wet. But the food was tasty and well cooked. Restaurant was clean, service friendly and helpful. Felt full...
