Been many times. Always excellent! A huge variety of Indian food delights to satisfy anyone's tastes.
WOW! Great variety on this menu and everything we tried was excellent and plentiful - all 3 of us ended taking doggie bags home!
Some of the food was good and some of it less so. I enjoyed a mushroom Samosa which was unusual and tasty, but I had one of their “house specials” which was mushy and uninspired. The drinks are good. The bench seating is a little uncomfortable. Your mileage may vary, but I prefer the Indian restaurants in Central Square.
Food was great but the portions for the dish I ordered (chicken tikka masala) were very small, especially given the price. I had to go elsewhere for a full meal afterwards.
We had a phenomenal lunch today. Food prepared perfectly. Excellent service. Great value for the $$. Can't wait to go back!
This is the best Indian restaurant in Cambridge and I don't say that lightly! It has been there for 7 years and has been consistently wonderful! I go there as often as I can!
So disgusting

We've been going there for years. The food is always good, but service not great. Not very attentive and no one checks up. They don't seem very happy you're there. Still, the food is tasty.
Pathetic and experience, rude and unattentuve staff, cooking quality below average, basic condiments in indian typical dishes missing, and most importantly, staff think they are doing a favor by taking care of their guests. Really disappointed as it's been the only let down on our trip. Rest of all Boston/New England restaurants have been a true delight!
Nirvana is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We dine here often. The food is consistently good, the service is fine, and the ambiance is nice. We wish those large TVs over the bar were not there. No one seems to watch them, but they distract.

Really exceptional food. We did the set dinners (trying both the meat and the vegetarian offerings) and they were terrific, providing more food than four hungry people could eat. Highly recommended!
Such a treat to have masala dosas in addition to some of favorite North Indian treats. Service was prompt. Food was flavorful and spice level was on point. Enjoyed the cauliflower done manchurian style. All in all it was the perfect rest for our college freshman who misses our favorite Indian restaurant at home!
Excellent, fresh Indian food. We've been disappointed with our western suburbs's Indian dining, and was very happily surprised by an excellent dinner at Nirvana. The service was also very attentive and pleasant.
We had an incredible experience, the food the service, everything was great. I unfortunately had a severe cramp in my leg and the family running the restaurant helped to make sure I was ok. The whole staff treated customers like family. We will be back!
The food choices for vegans are excellent, and the beer on tap makes it all taste so much better. But what I liked most of all, with my ageing ears, was that we could hold a conversation without having to compete with background noise.
