Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. I'm so sad that so many won't be able to experience the greatness because after years of serving the community they are closing down. This spot gave extraordinary service and yummy meals. Came by this very casual and lowkey place after thrifting at Garment District, I got the fried shrimp plate with beans and rice and plantains. It was my first time trying Puerto Rican food and I really enjoyed it! More flavorful than Mexican food, imo, but still mellow enough that you can enjoy it for lunch or dinner or a random bite.
