TL;DR: okay food. Small portions.

The food was quite mediocre with no particular stand outs. I got Monkfish Katsu, Lobster Roe Pasta, and Toro Rice ($$$)

Lobster Roe pasta was especially disappointing as the “roe” (which you can’t really see) doesn’t add much to the flavor. It felt like a regular pasta, and we were wondering if they forgot to add the roe or something.

Monkfish Katsu was enjoyable, but the serving...
I recently visited a izakaya restaurant wanted to share my thoughts. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable. I tried a few different small plates, Sake was good. I found the overall experience to be decent. The atmosphere was cozy, which is typical for an izakaya setting. It's a good spot if you're looking for a casual place to grab a bite and a drink. A little bit pricey though.
Dined in last night, excellent food, cozy setting. Standouts for us were the toro temaki, mussels, seared oyster mushrooms and dumplings. The mussels were deliciously fresh and cooked perfectly. The quality of the sushi rice preparation in the temaki jumped out at both of us. Just the right amount of seasoning all around to let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves.

Drinks were nice and balanced, nothing too strong.
