We ordered Chai Latte and Ocean Blue Latte, which were both very tasty. We also found the staff very friendly and the ambience cozy.
The honey ginger tea is delicious & the restaurant decorum is warm and beautiful. They cater to vegan and vegetarian dishes that are suitable to all.
Though the service was a little below par, I would rate them highly for the food. Never thought that they can indeed cook vegetarian food that nicely. I am from India and I can highly recommend this place for vegetarians.
Got the PB&J açaí bowl & hot chai latte. Their drinks aren’t sweetened with extra sugars. 10/10 as always! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-21
Been here multiple times and this is my go to after a long day of studying, especially sinceI want to make sure I’m stuffing myself with high quality plant-based meals. The staff is super friendly and the environment is a café style that’s perfect as a study spot. Plenty of seating on the ground floor and the basement.
Probably the slowest life alive ever

This pure vegetarian restaurant located in Cambridge, Boston, offers a variety of salad bowls, warm salads, burgers, sandwiches, soups, wraps, noodles, milkshakes, juices, etc. The menu is diverse and healthy. This is the warm salad bowl - rainbow harvest, with vegetables of various colors, boiled and then stir-fried, including brown rice and sweet potatoes to increase satiety, as well as beetroot, kale and carrots. It has a crisp texture and has tofu cubes to add protein. It is also seasoned with salad dressing, and the overall taste is more integrated. It is very delicious and warms up the body and mind.

We ordered a spicy peanut noodle it was delicious. Some of the noodle stick together so I suppose they need to loose them up before serving or add a little olive oil. We also ordered the teriyaki tofu bowl and again it was to perfection. What they need to improve is not to add sugar to the food and the we took it to go and leaked liquid so the paper bag broke.

I love everything about this place. I've unfortunately moved away from the area but I make it a point to visit Life Alive every time I'm back in the area. The Adventurer is such a tasty, healthy and fresh dish. It sounds corny but it really makes me feel good. Can't wait to visit again!!

Amazing food. Amazing staff. Great vibe!
Sucks to order a >$5 drink and have it come out bad (poorly mixed, globs of coconut cream congealed on the ice, flavorless) and in the wrong container (plastic when I asked for a mug). If I have to order a drink in the future for a business meeting then I guess tea is the only safe option.

Life Alive is a nice little organic cafe here in Central Square. No coffee or doughnuts but fresh juices, smoothies, teas and acai bowls. You don't like healthy food? You will once you try one of their smoothies. I like Strawberry Bliss-- strawberries, coconut water, bananas and other good things. That's a perfect replacement for coffee. Definetly get the Cobb Salad its a huge plate of deliciousness with smoked blue cheese crumbles and it's soo good and I'm not a salad person. It's about the same price as upper-end coffee shops so it's not cheap but it is really worth it. EVERYTHING in here is healthy. A nice break from the sugar and caffeine. They are located right next door to City Hall in Central. They do have another entrance if stairs are hard. Two steps to get in.
Wheelchair accessibility: At the front door there is a sign stating they have another entrance if stairs are hard.
