Today I was in that restaurant and I had a bad experience when we sat at the bar one of the white girls didn't want to serve us because supposedly we weren't going to give her the tip she deserved to serve him she didn't discriminate she said we had to leave because no we had money to pay him at the restaurant.people like that shouldn't work in a restaurant.

The restaurant was way understaffed with only two people working the bar and a handful of tables. The staff did a great job keeping up with the orders at the bar and tables. The food was great and the drinks were cold. Hopefully they get more help soon.

It was ok. It’s hard to say much more than that based on my two mead visit

My group happened upon Meadhall as a matter of convenience when wandering Kendall Square and around MIT. Unassuming from the outside, the inside is fairly appealing as a corner gastropub. We were seated pretty quickly. I was surprised at how few people were inside, given we were there right around lunchtime... but I'll happily take a less crowded venue during the times of COVID-19. I ordered a "Bee's Knees" (Knockabout Gin, Honey, Lemon) to drink, and it arrived quickly... but none of us tried any of the beer options available. While the menu of beer options was okay, nothing really stood out for any of us. In terms of food, our orders were the Barbecue Pork Sliders (Trio of Beer Braised Pulled Pork Sliders, Barbeque Sauce, Pickles), Baked Mac & Cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Parmesan w. Truffle for an additional $2), and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap (Buffalo Fried Chicken, Lettuce, Tomato, Buttermilk Ranch, Soft Tortilla). The mac & cheese was mine, and I'm disappointed to note that I didn't taste ANY of the truffle... so either it was missed when our server placed the order, or it was just completely lacking in flavor (but c'mon... it's truffle... so it shouldn't be that hard to pick out. I'm assuming it was missed... and while I don't remember looking at the receipt to see if I was charged for it or not, it was still ordered and not included... so someone along the way wasn't paying attention). The other dishes were fine... but nothing memorable. It's worth noting that after we received out orders, we didn't see our server again until she brought out our check... so the service could certainly have been more attentive. TL;DR Would probably be fine if you wanted to sit at the bar and have a couple beers, but actual sit-down meal service / quality of food was "meh". Having spent a fair amount of time in and around Cambridge / Kendall Square, there are certainly better options for lunch.

Great albeit smaller than usual selection if beers. The poutine, sliders and mac and cheese are excellent!

Dark and moody Cambridge gastropub. Probably darker than it needs to be for the architecture...the lighting was mote appropriate to a wood-lined Hobbit hole or old oil-lit library than a high-ceilinged gastropub. No meades on hand on the warmish rainy early autumn evening when I visited, but knowledgeable, friendly barstaff who were interested in giving as much opinion on the brews that were available as I was interested in asking for. I had the meatloaf and fries. Meatloaf is always a risky item to order at a restaurant, but rewarding as a comfort food when done right. This was not a risky meatloaf in terms of ingredients or tomato-based gravy, but it was fork-moist and tasty. Fries were delicious, but I prefer a good mash-and-gravy with my meatloaf. Maybe some roasted veggies on the side too. Beer selection seemed less than I expected but a good selection of Northeast brews. Not many MA breweries...I was traveling through, is it that hard to source local brews? Lack of meade was a disappointment but COVID, etc. I will be back.

Great location and atmosphere with interesting beers and food for a diverse range of options. High suggest any seasonal game meats on offer.

Lots of options here, especially if you like German/Belgium beers. At the moment they have a reduced number of taps, but during normal operation they have like a 100 or something plus bottles. Food is good too. Nice spot to stop for lunch or after work.

Lots of beers and a solid menu. Dark and tavern like vibe, good place to go with friends

If you're a big fan of craft microbrews and don't mind paying handsomely for the samples, Meadhall is the place for you. Yes, the beer is pricey. Food is pretty good and the atmosphere pleasant for a night out if you're in the Kendall Square area.

Good service! Tap heaven!

This place used to have so many great beers on tap. That was their schtick. In a competitive market like Boston you need something to stand out. With the beer selection greatly reduced, they just don't have it anymore. Still a good space and an ok crowd but I'll probably go somewhere else next time.

The beer selection is not what it used to be before the pandemic. But still lots of good stuff to choose from. Very nice place to have a beer or two.

Good fries, had the burger and a vitus and was content with the quality and atmosphere.
