The restaurant was way understaffed with only two people working the bar and a handful of tables. The staff did a great job keeping up with the orders at the bar and tables. The food was great and the drinks were cold. Hopefully they get more help soon.
Dark and moody Cambridge gastropub. Probably darker than it needs to be for the architecture...the lighting was mote appropriate to a wood-lined Hobbit hole or old oil-lit library than a high-ceilinged gastropub. No meades on hand on the warmish rainy early autumn evening when I visited, but knowledgeable, friendly barstaff who were interested in giving as much opinion on the brews that were available as I was interested in asking for. Lots of options here, especially if you like German/Belgium beers. At the moment they have a reduced number of taps, but during normal operation they have like a 100 or something plus bottles. Food is good too. Nice spot to stop for lunch or after work.
