The staff made our 50th first date anniversary at this location as special as we could have possibly hoped. They greated us very warmly, asked us about our occasion, served us extremely well and affectionately, the food lived up to my Italian wife's mother's best standards, and they wished us well on our way out. We hoped to celebrate decades of love and the manager Alan, and our waitress, Emily, especially made our evening as special as we hoped it would be.
Food was amazing and so was our server! The restaurant was half full but for some reason the bar was slow to send out drinks. Maybe next time we'll just sit at the bar since it was pretty open. Overall good experience.
We drove 1.5 hours to eat here, based on an excellent review by The Phantom Gourmet. Our server, Stephanie, saved the day with her friendliness and genuine desire to make sure we were happy. The wine list is admirable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Cab. On the other hand, my limoncello martini was small and lacked the sharpness expected of lemon.
