Poke City offers a decent selection of poke at reasonable prices, making it a good option for students on a budget. The portions are generous, especially on the rice, so if someone isn't very hungry, they might get two meals from one order. The fish and toppings are fresh, and the restaurant features a cute selection of Asian drinks like Calpico and Ito-en. However, the restaurant is very small with only a few seats, making takeout the better choice. The ambiance is lacking, as there is no music and the atmosphere feels dull. Some staff members can be disrespectful and seem annoyed when customers try to order in person, often pointing to the iPad instead. The floors are frequently dirty, and the drink machine is often broken, making it hard to get the ordered drinks. There have been concerns about cleanliness and food safety, with reports of food poisoning. Despite these issues, the food is generally good, and staff are usually polite and answer questions. With improvements in cleanliness, service, and ambiance, Poke City has the potential to be a much better place.
