Harvard Square is a lively place to simply hang out with your people
More like two and a half stars. I'm not that old, but even from my own experiences, I've seen Harvard Square collapse into an abyss of mediocrity and over-commercialization. In 2007, the neighborhood was just a little bit funkier and felt more homegrown than it does now. It's always been populated by clueless, pretentious yuppies, that's true, but there is certainly more of an influx of them these days than there was a decade ago.
