Reservation needed? Usually for lunch, maybe for dinner Monday-Thursday. A bit easier on the weekends when the business crowd dissipates.
Overall . The food is fantastic and it arrives at your table quickly, but we've felt forgotten after the initial order. If they could work on customer experience, this could easily be one of the better restaurants in the Boston area.

We scored a last minute reservation on a Friday evening using Open Table. Great experience! The food was promptly made and served, and was served while hot. The porchetta is fantastic. The ambience is modern and yet warm and inviting. Give Sulmona a try!

Sat outside, weather was perfect for it. It was quiet outside; louder inside but a normal volume for the area/type of restaurant/bar. Subway going by underneath the street that could be heard through grates was distracting to say the least but overall a minor annoyance that certainly isn't the restaurant's fault. The food, however, was amazing. Every dish we ordered was unique (except for the seemingly obvious fascination with wedged potatoes that seemed to accompany each dish). The coffee was good as well as the orange juice. Overall a good value and great experience, the server and serving staff were quick, brief, helpful and tentative but not so much that it was annoying. Meaning they checked in when they needed to at the right times and not 1 minute after my food arrived before I've even had the chance tot take a bite (which happens all the time); let me enjoy the meal first before you “check-in”. This place did it well. For reference, we got the octopus app, lobster Benedict, hash with the sunny side of egg (don't remember the full name) and the tiramisu French toast. 2 ppl and we had leftovers for 2 of the dishes (about half each dish).

Management should learn how to run a restaurant. Shortage of staff, 3 people managed the entire restaurant during peak hours. We got our food after a wait of an hour and TWO reminders. Pasta and chicken were RAW and undercooked. Ambience and location is good. Disappointing experience overall.
