“I ordered spicy chicken fried rice just to be safe trying out new place, got shrimp fried rice (which was not spicy). Introvert so ate it anyway, and it was my first time trying shrimps too. It wasn’t spicy but it was really really good, and the quantity is really generous too!!! Gonna be my go to spot :)“

“It was our first time visiting Grandma’s Kitchen. We arrived 5 minutes early Friday evening and there was a short line already. There are only a handful of tables so it’s worth coming early to get seating right away.

We tried the popcorn chicken, bean curd, chicken cutlet, braised beef noodle, spicy wonton, and salted pork chop. The fried chicken dishes were definitely the standouts. The chicken cutlet was especially well seasoned and flavored. The beef noodle broth was also quite good. The spicy wontons were solid but didn’t wow me. The salted pork chop I thought was a little tough. I would order the fried chicken dishes and beef noodle again in a heartbeat but probably not the wontons or salted pork chop.

The service was on point and the server was very friendly. There atmosphere was very nice. It was relatively quiet and very open which was a nice change from many places that are super loud and pack people in like sardines.

Definitely worth a try and I look forward to coming back.“

“Probably the best Chinese restaurant in quincy area if you want a proper meal with veggies, meat and carbs.
They have such a long menu, and everything looks so delicious.
We had the beef roll. The beef itself is served cool and the roll is crispy and hot, very tasty!
The Sichuan spicy fish is very tender and tasty. The spice level is just right for us.
Although I won’t say it’s all taiwanese dishes, I would love to try again next time.“

“The price to quality ratio is very good, the only thing better would be the Costco $5 chicken. Lunch specials run $11 or $13 and comes with a bowl of rice.

While other restaurants in general load the meal up with fillers, such as breads, beans or rice, the ratio here is the other way around. There is 2X or 3x of the dish, relative to starch.

“Place is clean and service is quick. Server was nice and speak good english , very attentive . We ordered pork and beef pan fried dumplings, with Mala Lamb stew and Stir fried beef with pepper . Food came out quick and was delicious. Price is fair with good portions. We enjoy the food and we will definitely come back when we are nearby. Pardon me for not putting images for dumplings into my review because it was so delicious that we ate all before picture taken . Last but not least tipping is a must for us at 20% .“

“Why is this place rated so low???? It is a legit Taiwanese restaurant with aunty servers. They were efficient and all the food came out super quick and delicious. We got the sweet soy milk, long Chinese dough stick that I don't know the name of, beef noodle soup, scallion beef rolls. Everything was delicious and came out super fast. When everyone is asian when you walk in, you know you are eating a good place 😁❤“
