The cutest restaurant in Porter Square! If my math is correct, Tampopo is celebrating 30 years at porter square, so they must be doing something right.

I ordered the tempura combo and was very impressed with what I got. The tempura was light and crispy and the rice was perfectly cooked (some very old comments mention mushy rice but I can say that my rice was cooked to perfection).

Good small place for a special cutlet taste.
Two old couple working this place and the taste is honestly not bad for the price they charged.
We order the curry with fried pork cutlet and shrimp tempura udon which both are good.

I have been coming here for years. The service is incredibly kind and friendly, and the food is delicious. This is a great place to go if you are having a tough day and are just looking for a simple and tasty lunch or dinner.
