We celebrated my husbands birthday first time at Season to Taste for Chefs counter! We had a flat tire upon arrival unfortunately that delayed our dinner reservation start time one hour!! Chef & servers went over & beyond accommodating us late, our dinner was stupendous & we were not rushed at all!! The chef's creativity in meal preparation blending unique seasonal fresh vegetables & proteins were outstanding!!! We will certainly be returning with family & friends! Thanks a million

Food was cloyingly sweet. “Fried Ipswich clams” consisted of 3 fried clams on a small plate of chowder that was too sweet. Fried oysters were clobbered by the parsnip purée, which was very sweet and washed out all traces of oyster flavor. Salad was drenched in dressing—that was too sweet. Ribs were dry. Broccoli rabe was good but was about 4 bites total. Very heavy-handed cooking. I don't recommend it despite the positive reviews, which are the reason we went.

I did the Fall 2025 Chefs counter tasting menu with beverage pairing and it was incredible. Will definitely do it again.

Food was delicious. Only dish they didn't wow was the Sea Captain. It needed a bit more depth to the sauce. Service was generally good but expected a bit more coordination between server and runners and runners just dropped food without any explanation about what it was. Also, timing was a little odd. Got 4 dishes very quickly and then a long wait until the entree. Overall though would definitely recommend

A wonderful evening at Season to Taste. The soft shell crab, deviled eggs and halibut were fabulous. Terry took good care of drinks, our server was excellent.

My husband and I sat at the Chef's Counter and had the Tasting Menu. This is the 2nd time we've done this, and it's been OUTSTANDING both times. Each dish is like a work of art, both in terms of complexity and nuance of flavors and also the visual presentation. The Chef personally presented and explained each dish to us. The service was top notch. I'm also an avid cook myself so I enjoyed watching the kitchen staff at work. I would happily go back again and again.

We were very disappointed in the food at Seasons to Taste last night. Especially main courses. Too many flavor mixings to allow enjoyment of the food. Mussels with soggy fries and ?barbecue sauce? Horrible. Swordfish kabobs soggy and almost steamed in taste, with a bunch of soggy sauces around and nothing fresh and crunchy. Maybe this was intentional but we did not enjoy our meal. Will not return any time soon. Entrees and combinations are all just off being enticing or interesting. Want fresh food, not food overdrenched in sauces with weird combinations.
Overall everything was perfect- except for the main entree (beef) - which was flavorful but lukewarm (so it tasted like leftovers)

It was our first time eating in the new location of Season to Taste. The atmosphere was lively yet still offered ease of conversation, the restaurant had a "hip" casual vibe, the sound level was quite tolerable, the server was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the menu selection and the manner in which the food was prepared. The menu is eclectic with a wide variety of hot and cold starters and very good main course selection for all tastes. They also offer very creative cocktails that should satify anyone's palate. We highly recommend Season to Taste for that special date night or for a fine meal with friends.
