I had an odd and alarming experience at this establishment with the on-duty manager, Darlin at the Roxbury location, on February 6, 2026.
I ordered a drink that tasted like stale, freezer-burned ice. I calmly said something and asked for a moment to decide on a replacement. Instead, she made another drink without confirming. After seeing the menu, I was excited to try TopMix Cambridge and decided to order takeout on a Thursday evening. I went with the fried pork chop with white rice and beans. Unfortunately, less than five minutes after placing my order, I received a call saying they were out of pork for the night, which was disappointing.
