The food, service, and ambience were all great, fresh, flavorful dishes and friendly staff made for a great experience. However, I was surprised to see an automatic 20% tip added to the bill for just two people. I usually expect that policy for larger groups (5 or more), so it felt misleading. The restaurant should make this clearer upfront.

My best friend and I decided to come here for the first time. The hostess was so sweet when she greeted us we were expecting a great time. The atmosphere was amazing. But we waited almost 15 mins before even getting water, then waited another 10 min before our waiter even came over to greet us. By this time we already knew what we wanted for drink and lunch.

We ordered our drinks and waited our meals came out which were disappointing. We had ordered two appetizers but they didn’t come out in time because our waiter forgot to bring them out. So we just had four plates of food that was mildly warm. Our waiter never came and checked up on us or did he ask us if we wanted more to drink. We had to flag down the bartender and ask for another drink.

It’s so sad to think we went with the intentions of just relaxing having a couple drinks and enjoying the food and it was mediocre at best. To top it off they automatically put a 20% gratuity to our bill which was not deserved in the least.

I visited Top Mix during lunch last week and ordered the chicken wings along with the Caribbean baked chicken with rice and beans. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The chicken wings had an odd taste not from the seasoning, but from the wings themselves, which seemed either not properly cleaned or possibly old. The Caribbean baked chicken was also very dry and lacked flavor. This was especially surprising and disappointing because I’ve had great experiences with the food at the Roxbury and JP locations. I wanted to share my honest feedback in hopes it helps improve consistency across locations.

Went here for brunch with my cousins and we had a blast! Not only is the ambiance top tier so is the food and atmosphere. We felt the need to tip the DJ! The drinks were strong and completely worth every cent. Our server Leo was not only knowledgeable, he was patient, kind, and so much fun! We got the margarita flights and the Caribbean flights, we only got their passion fruit margarita with Don Julio which I highly recommend. We did not favor any of the appetizers for brunch, but brunch is a meal not a starter lol. I got the “Back To Life” with calamari, shrimp and mussels! The Caribbean breakfast was also delicious, and the pancakes were amazing.

Be careful! Our server was absolutely terrible but added 20% automatic gratuity to our check (for a table of 2). Make sure to see a copy of the bill before they shove the payment machine in your face.

UPDATE: I spoke to the manager and apparently all bills over $100 receive an automatic 20% auto gratuity. The experience was so terrible it’s almost like I was penalized for ordering more (won’t make that mistake again). I was embarrassed to have brought my friend here and felt bad she had to pay half since we both felt a little ripped off. It’s too bad since I live so close by

Ordered takeout three times through their online portal and they've gotten it wrong twice. They even gave out food I was allergic to, after I selected the checkbox saying I was allergic.

Food is decent when it doesn't try to land you in the hospital. They fixed the order on request, but it took a 15 minute phone call. They did not apologize.

Great Service from Jae! She warned us it was only 3rd but 3rd day where??? She was so greattt and lovely, and so sweet, I would come back just off the strength of her service. So quick and attentive, and the food and drinks were also super tasty!

Chris, our server, was absolutely incredible! Juggling multiple tables with ease, he provided top-notch service that made our experience unforgettable. The food was delicious, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing meal!

Food was just okay. I feel the brunch menu wasn't accomodating for breakfast and lunch at all. They were really strict on what they served. Server was fine. Atmosphere was really beautiful. Good luck with parking though, there isn't any.
