Best ice cream in town. Perfect texture, wonderful flavors, and one of the few places that adds enough of the mix-ins. I wish they had cocoa pudding and chocolate #3 more often. If it were up to me there would always be one of the intense chocolate flavors available. Chocolate #3 chip would also be an incredible flavor for us chocolate lovers.
Today a group of us showed up when the store were closed (didn't realize the hours had changed for the winter) and the owner very kindly let us in, turned on the lights, and scooped ice cream for everyone.
Great and simple with amazing flavors. B3 (brown butter, brown sugar, brownie) was my favorite.
Great ice creams with a wide variety of flavor oprtions
Good flavors, $5.50 for one scoop 😳
Amazing
I’ve been coming to Toscanini’s for years, and I’ve always been head over heels for their B3 cake.
I was throwing a birthday party for my severely disabled mom this past weekend and since she’s mostly on a liquid/pudding-thick diet, I really wanted her to try this cake since at least the ice cream part is something she could eat. She’s always been a huge ice cream lover — it runs in the family.
I had been trying to get into Cambridge all week to pick up the cake and life just kept happening — my mom was really unwell, and I simply was not able to do the 1-1.5 hour drive just to pickup cake. I was heartbroken, honestly, because in a world where so little is in our control, I really thought that I could AT LEAST pull off bringing the best ice cream cake ever to her birthday. This might sound dramatic, but it’s been a crap time with a really sick mom and I just wanted her to have a special cake.
ANYWAY, fast forward to this past Saturday and ANGIE was an absolute lifesaver. She went above and beyond, like WAY above and beyond, all the way to infinity, to help me figure out a way to acquire the cake (two cakes, actually), in time for my mom’s party the next day. I door dashed a cooler, called a courier, she helped coordinate between the two, and all around she just saved the day. Someone please give her a promotion, a raise, and a giant hug. The party was perfect, and the cakes were a hit! (:
Soooooo delicious!
They have so many interesting flavors. I got brown butter pumpkin sage, and it was so good.
This is the best ice cream shop in Boston. The ice cream is light and not overly sweet. This is a must try if you're a fan of green tea ice cream. The green tea ice cream meets or exceeds my similar experiences in Japan. There's a ton of other flavors as well.
Like to eat cream in this friendly, cozy space.

Literally the most wholesome ice cream store I’ve been to. The people who work there love their craft and are so incredibly kind to everyone who comes in. It’s my favorite spot in Boston!
Great flavors and lot of creativity in their flavors. Burnt caramel left such a lasting impression.
My boyfriend and I stumbled in to this place and I think we have a new favorite! I had mint chocolate chip and he had peanut butter (would love to come back and try the Mango Sticky Rice flavor!!) I didn’t catch their name but the person who helped us (with the Garfield tattoo) made our night and was so sweet. Will be back!!
I had a really good experience here. I have a nut allergy and the team asked questions to determine how to best serve me IF they could which they didn’t have to do. We worked through taste testing a few flavors and after I selected 1 specific flavor they opened a brand new batch for me and made sure the spoon was clean. B3 flavor was sooo good! And the goat cheese brownie was very unique and special. Thank you team!
Yummy! I tasted the ice cream and it wasn’t too sweet but still very very good. The matcha flavor was good and it tasted fresh and the cookies and cream was very good and had lots of cookies:))
