The sandwich was delicious, with incredibly fresh and fluffy bread. The ingredients were super fresh and very tasty. The service was excellent.
It says a lot when the preparation team takes real pride in their work.
While waiting, I stepped back and watched the team at Fresh Boston – Cambridgeside build my sandwich. The cleanliness, care, and attention to detail were immediately obvious. Everything looked organized, fresh, and intentional.
The sandwich itself was packed, fresh, and absolutely worth the price.
There’s fast food… and then there’s Fresh Boston.

5 stars just on the focaccia alone. It’s salty and crispy yet not too dense. It’s a really good for a sandwich. I got the chipwich twice. Some chips in there, turkey, bacon, avocado.. what more can you want. They even sell their focaccia as is. So I definitely need some of that!

Fresh Boston is a sandwich spot in Cambridge, known for its outstanding and enormous sandwiches. The bread is insane, delicious, crispy, and to die for, with a great bounce and crunch. Ingredients are the freshest, with plentiful meat, tender prosciutto, crispy chicken, and quality, fresh toppings. Sandwiches are excellent and phenomenal, with specific highlights including the Island Mambo, the caprese, the CBR, the Capone, and a breakfast sandwich on everything focaccia. The staff is very friendly, super friendly and kind, and takes pride in how they build the sandwiches. The inside ambiance is super cute with a modern, beachy theme. Located in a mall food court and at the Canalside food court, it is possibly the best sandwich place around, worth every penny. Takeout is excellent and the food is still delicious as leftovers. It is an absolute favorite spot that customers will certainly recommend and return to.
