My favorite Italian restaurant in Cambridge and Somerville. Authentic atmosphere ( a real trattoria), classic food, and wonderful family service. I have been a fan for decades and it never disappoints.
Superb, authentic Italian cuisine with great pasta entrees and delicious appetizers. Especially enjoyed the warm artichoke hearts in lemon butter and the cacio e pepe. Servers were welcoming and professional. One of our best Italian meals in a long time.
We came at 5:30 with a small child, so the place was empty when we arrived. The food was great, and service was very accommodating. If you come with a child, bring a sippy cup — the restaurant doesn't have plastic cups with straws.
