Best sushi spot I’ve found in the area. The food is phenomenal. The nigiri always comes with a generous amount of fish that is super tender and flavorful. And they serve toro and mackerel, two of my favorites that aren’t always easy to find.

I am literally writing this as I eat because it is THAT good. I went to Japan a few years ago and this is better than the sushi, sashimi and gyoza I had there. The presentation, quality, attention to detail is all impeccable. I would recommend this to anyone.

There are plenty of sushi takeout options in Cambridge, most of which are pretty mediocre, but Wasabi at Porter seems to be a bit higher in quality so it may be my new favorite takeout spot. Prices are comparable to other sushi spots in Cambridge. We sampled the Sushi Deluxe and the Wasabi Roll. The sushi deluxe included 10 pieces of nigiri, a spicy tuna roll, and miso soup. The wasabi roll was new to me- it included tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado, and wasabi fish roe, wrapped in soybean skin. Both were quite good quality with fresh fish, properly cooked rice, and properly formed nigiri and rolls. The miso soup came with lots of seaweed and tofu. It was plenty of food for 2 people. Delivery was fast. Overall would definitely re-order from them again.

Everything that a take-out oriented, casual Sushi spot should be. The Tuna Dumpling is unlike anything you’ve had before, and I feel bad for those who’ve never experienced it.

Love Wasabi and their lunch specials! Sushi is always fresh and the one tiny detail I like is that they make sure the hot food is packaged with hot food and cold with cold food in a separate bag well organized and sturdy! Love their attention to detail Love their sushi! Spicy girl/Sushi Deluxe/Shrimp tempura Scallion pancakes are my go tos✨???

The attention to detail (e.g. rice to seafood temperature, well balanced texture, thoughtfulness in separate packaging for sushi from warm soup) is always a pleasant surprise and a reminder as to why we return here each time. We appreciate the above average portions, like the generous avocado chunks. Wasabi cares for its skillful sushi craft and service.
