Every 4th Saturday of the month The Vibe Syndicate hosts a UK Bass event here called SELECT and it's amazing.

The atmosphere is kinda cute in a bohemian retro way. Plastic chairs are awkward and uncomfortable . Middle Eastern Salad was pretty bad, served on a plastic plate. Just a rushed chopped salad with weak dressing. Chicken skewer was fine. Nice staff.

Terrible service. Food is very poor quality. Several people from our group got sick after eating here. They took our group in knowing they couldn’t serve us properly on time. Once they served us extremely late, within 5 minutes they served us the bill and demanded for us to leave! And also it was a fraudulent bill with items that they didn’t serve! Save yourself and stay away from these greedy people.

We tried this place when we were visiting Boston from NYC. I never had such bad experience in my life before. We were a group of 8 with kids. They seated us and never told us anything about any party later. The food arrived extremely late almost after 1 hour. They never even gave us the appetizer. Within 5 minutes of serving food they told us we have to leave as there will be an event! They also charged for the appetizer that they never served! Everyone please stay away from this horrible restaurant. The service is terrible!!! Worst experience ever.

The food was OK. It was food and we were hungry. The dips and tabouli seems like they came straight from a grocery store. I did like the sambousek. The pita bread was really not it. It was just super flat and flavorless. The drinks were good, but it took 45 minutes for all of our drinks to come out.. we all ordered cocktails, so I guess just order beer and wine if you want it to come out in a timely manner?
We ate outside, and it was really nice. I like the atmosphere outside a lot. I would probably come here again, just for beer and wine and to drink on the patio.

The DJ for rinse and repeat is just OK, energy died and it got boring. Didn’t seem to be paying much attention to the crowd. The background video playing during the set was very creepy and included racist vintage cartoons - weird! I wouldn’t come back. Upside is it wasn’t too hot or crowded, but I’d rather feel like I’m at boiler room than wish I was in bed.
bartender was very rude

It's very good to see that some things haven't changed in Central Square. Still good food. Still good vibes.

Went to "Dig Deep's Last Dance" and had an amazing time. The vibe was absolutely on point—chill crowd, friendly staff, and the house music hit the spot. I loved that there was no cover and no dress code; it made the whole night feel so laid-back but still packed with electric energy.
This spot definitely feels like a local gem, and I’m so glad I gave it a shot. Highly recommend checking it out if you ever get the chance!

Pretty ridiculous entry policy - patrons not let in, in what seems to be nothing more than a petty power trip from the bouncer.

Bouncer turned a group around for having an open container of seltzer… literally just there for a power trip, and the music is nowhere near good enough to justify it lmao
Bouncer won't allow re-entry to certain patrons...
As you can see from the attached photo, the club is not at capacity, as the allotted capacity to this music venue is nowhere near reached.
Therefore a stamped, ID checked, previously entered, sober customer, is unable to reenter, under false reasoning.
Good luck

My favorite Lamb Kebab Dinner in all of greater Boston was here. tender, marinated and nice clean rice pilaf and Greek Salad. Time it right and an eclectic array of after dinner talent shows up.

Same experience with bouncers questioning the validity of IDs— after traveling far to specifically go to their shows they consistently turn down valid IDs at the door for undisclosed reasons.Zuzu/middle east are not places that underage people try to frequent. The crowd is usually well into their 30s&40s. I prefer that crowd over others since I like underground dance and music. Being over 21, this is only a case of ageism that arises from the stress of getting fined by the city and laziness. To avoid that stress, I would recommend learning how to tell a fake from a real ID in an age where travel is ubiquitous and coming across IDs from other states is common. I am a relatively frequent patron but the bouncer who looks like a pirate acts like border control (very un-pirate of him). The pirate didn’t even ask me if I had another form of ID, he just made sure me and my friend did not get into the show we have been meaning to see all week. There was no disrespect on our part, they were just being weird for no reason. If they are so concerned with IDs being valid, they need to buy a scanner. Or be explicit in which types of IDs they accept or do not accept. Put it on their website if I need to bring a passport, but don’t tell me they can’t accept my valid ID and not give a reason why. Terrible energy from the door on this occasion. I’ll be back obviously but hope that one door manager retires, he needs a rest.
