“Great place especially if you’re a brew aficionado. (I am not.) Went with some long-time friends for dinner. They are beer fans and they spent quite a while discussing the many thousands of options.
The food was pretty good. Not overly-large-typically-American portions. I got the mac and cheese just cuz I like mac and cheese. Our apps were good too.
The waitstaff is great. Very knowledgeable and polite.
It’s pretty loud there even though it’s sort of an indoor/outdoor place. We sat inside but it was so nice out that they opened their bay (think garage) doors so the breeze could waft through. It ended up being a bit cold but was fine.
This is a great dinner or happy hour restaurant. Highly recommend!!!
Oh and for dinner *definitely* make reservations. Or else risk a very long wait.“
“Nice spot for a beer by the river.
Weird arbitrary rules from management.
Mostly empty beer garden, was riding by and figured I’d stop for a brew. Didn’t have a bike lock with me and the crappy wheelbender racks are far away from any tables, so I rolled my bike over to an out of the way corner along the perimeter fence so I could keep an eye on it.
Got hollered at that I couldn’t have my bike in the beer garden… so I moved it 4.5 inches to the other side of the rope fence…
I’m sure there are times when it’s too crowded to have a bunch of bikes about… but seems like empowering staff to use their best judgement would be a better approach.“

“We hosted a work party with over 40 people here. The catering team was super easy to work with and helped us every step of the way. When the day of our event came, everything went smoothly, and the Craft Food Halls team was even able to adjust the plan around some last-minute timeline changes without any issues. This was a great place to get a large group together, and they are totally willing to work with you to give you exactly what you are looking for.“
“When my uncle passed away, he left clear instructions that he did NOT want a traditional memorial service. He wanted his friends to get together and have beers. Joe and the other owners COULD NOT have been more accommodating. They helped every step of the way through this challenging time. They are incredible people, and I could not be happier with how the event turned out. I will be a lifelong supporter of Distraction, as will every single person who attended that evening. I can not thank them enough.“

“Good location! Good beer!“
“The atmosphere is open and modern. There is casual seating on sofas and soft lounge chairs and Adirondack chairs outside in a grassy area next to some picnic tables on a cemented area. Indoors, much of the eating is done on long tables that are shared and seating at the bar. Ping pong is available as well as table shuffleboard. The food I've had so far are burger and fries, margherita pizza, house salad, lemonade, and cheesecake. All have been delicious and I look forward to going back and trying the tacos.“

“Simply put, there is not a better outdoor food, drink and entertainment venue in the greater Boston area. The location is perfect, right on the water and overlooking Boston. There is so much space to explore for both adults and kids. Food and beverage options are great, as are the attentive staff. Can’t wait for my next summer evening at The Anchor.“
