Awful experience. Horrible customer service. Pretentious venue with a big city attitude in small town Chatham, that caters to rich coked up Chads with a violent disposition. Not the welcoming public house that it used to be.

Stopped in with a party of 6, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited,waited, waited, continued to wait, no eye contact, not one employee acknowledged us. I get it, places are short on staff but when I ask one of their employees , how long is the wait, he ignored me. Finally, I said, " Will someone be able to seat us shortly, the same guy shrugged his shoulders and said you can go somewhere else if you want. ( and we sure did) Having worked in many restaurants in the past, I find his behavior and response unprofessional and rude. Really poor customer service. All someone had to do was give us eye contact and minimally say, "we'll be right with you". I won't be back, EVER! BTW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE ACROSS THE STREET AT THE GOOSE! WAAAY BETTER STAFF and ATMOSPHERE!

Ate at the bar. Bartender service was great but, food was disappointing. The french onion soup was extremely salty and, the chicken caesar rollup was very soggy and bland. The meal was saved by the fries which were excellent.

We loved this place. This was our first visit to Chatham, and our friend and host had enthusiastically recommended it. The clam chowder was arguably the best I've had, and the rest of the seafood feast was great-- shrimp and calamari appetizers, and fish and chips with a deftly poured Guinness.
Our server, Maya, was superb; she went out of her way to make our evening welcoming and fun.

First trip to Chatham hasn’t been a culinary delight. I had the $30 fried flounder. It was mediocre at best but for the cost, it failed. The poor staff just had no idea how to do their jobs…but they were pleasant. The mixed drinks had to go back. My wife had fish tacos and enjoyed them. Overall, this was a C+ eating experience at a B+ price. Won’t return.

The burrata salvaged the rest of the meal. Clam strips were really gummy and off, fish tacos seemed sour. Chicken pesto was decent but couldn't make up for the rest. Waitress seemed like she couldn't care less about us. Unfortunate experience.
