Food was terrible- worst coconut shrimp ever, weird nachos. Extremely loud in bar area which carried over, even without a band playing. Bartender in restaurant very busy, but still attentive

So pleased we decided not to stay after WEIRD initial interactions. Adding our experience to the other reviews that mention racism and weirdness with making people sit at small tables. Ended up have an amazing meal across the street. Avoid.

Just popped in for the 1st time after I saw a special posted outside. Sat at the bar and Michaela warmly greeted me like an old friend. I just wish I could steal her away. She's everything anybody could want in the hospitality business. I did order the special Cod Provencal and it was a total home run. Generous filet baked perfectly with tomatoes, capers and lobster sauce, a timbale of killer house rice and a beautiful vegetable mix. I'm decades in the business and I'm hard pressed to come up with a better dish. This is not ordinary pub fare. Bravo, Chef. See you soon, Michaela.
This wouldn't be the first 1 star review out there about the service here (particularly from one of the main bartenders). I've been in this place twice over the past several years, and have been waited on both times by the same guy (Greg?). Apparently, he's been there for the past 40 years but certainly isn't doing the establishment any favors. The guy is full of himself and just downright rude. I ordered a drink at the bar and tried to hold a seat for the gal I was with who was finishing up a phone call outside. She wasn't going to be more than 5 or 10 minutes but this guy seemed to have a problem with it. Real jerk. I read that ownership of this bar changed hands a few years back - He may want to consider changing out some of the staff.
