my family and i have been coming here for 30 years. it's a cape staple and one of the few establishments there that still looks the same as it did when i was a kid. the chowder is some of the best around and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.
From the time we walked in we were very well taken care of . The hostess was point on on the wait time . We sat at the small bar while waiting and the bartender was so attentive even though he was non stop with drink orders. Our waitress, a local girl was great with menu descriptions , that we needed more of a description on . I had the best fish tacos I have ever had . They were fresh , perfectly fried fish in them and a slaw that was really nice.There were 5 of us and everyone...
Ate at the bar. Bartender service was great but, food was disappointing. The french onion soup was extremely salty and, the chicken caesar rollup was very soggy and bland. The meal was saved by the fries which were excellent.
