Very ample portions and the service was impeccable. I tried something new so I don't have anything to compare it to. Would recommend

Went there in late fall - got a chowder and ceaser salad to start. Chowder was blah and the salad was all pale wilty with powered parmesan cheese (think kraft). Also many empty tables but within minutes another couple came in and was seated right next to us. Maybe six inches between us. Uncomfortable for them and us. The tables were so close it was like we were together. They got up and moved to another table without asking hostess. Good for them. Choose to leave and go elsewhere for Dinner. Service and hostess was not friendly. Would not go back.

Whenever we are in Chatham we always try to get to the Impudent Oyster. It never disappoints. One of our favorite restaurants on the Cape. If planning on dinner absolutely make a reservation, no matter the time of year.

If You're in Chatham Ma. This local restaurant is a must and must make reservations. Not very large so limited table seats as well as bar but worth the effort. For the past several years, it has always been a stop for us when we're in Chatham and never disappointed.
That was some of the best (sword) fish I have ever had. And good vibes.

Fantastic food! High quality, very delicious dishes. We did not get reservations so no tables were available (highly recommend advance reservations) but were able to get two seats at the bar. We got two items from the daily specials, a mixed seafood in vodka sauce and a grilled swordfish.
