Best Seafood in Cape Cod!

Was told the reservation list would be impossible and we shouldn’t try to eat there. We walked in and were lucky that a couple at the bar were leaving right then. Great food and service! Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for a nice dinner in Chatham.
Hadn’t been here in several years and was looking forward to it! Planned on being a special night out with old friends… But have to be honest..was so disappointing! Almost everything was overcooked. Stuffed oyster special was burnt, steak au poivre asked for medium and was a crisp-pretty inedible others at table agreed it was awful-I STILL can’t get rid of the charcoal taste the next am. chicken in the scampi was overcooked…although the scampi sauce was tasty. Ordered the butterscotch sundae for dessert…and extremely dry. Not to mention an elderly woman fell on the poorly lit stairs and was given ice for injured knee.
Unfortunately all agreed big letdown of a night.
We had such a great lunch here!! Luckily got sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice. Cape Cod Reuben and Cubano sandwich were delicious!! Will be back!

I regret not having taken photos to demonstrate my experience: towers of deep fried rubbish. Nothing like their Instagram. The menu sounds innovative, and the bits you can see on the web show beautiful, light salads of whole grain deliciousness and Asian fusion fun. What you get is a world apart: the sort of refried, re-battered leftovers you expect from the lowest-end beach side shack. Portions were plentiful but inedible. Extremely salty scallops that probably came from a freezer bag. Dried and weathered greens. Sorry... not recommended.

The food was fantastic BUT the hostess Danielle needs a change in attitude…rude as well as unprofessional… very unfortunate.

The food was fine, the service was fine, the restaurant itself was cute and quaint. It was decent food but nothing memorable. That said, I would probably eat there again if we were in Chatham.

One of the best bites of food I've had in a while, and it was just a quick lunch while kids were at the beach. (Nantucket Scallop Sandwich). Husband had the Cape Cod Reuben and loved it. Will be heading here for dinner.

We been going here for years because there food has always been amazing. This year not so much. We had family two tables, we were reminded several times that we would not be seated next to each other. One table had good service and food, our table of 4 however, the food was cold and the service was mediocre at best. We had to send our food back because it was cold and it took 20 minutes to get it back. We also asked them to wrap up the food and only got 25% of the food wrapped for entire meal. We were disappointed to say the least. Next year will not be going back.

I didn’t take many good pictures other than this delicious Switchback draft. Specials here are always fantastic and the pastas are probably the best down the cape. You can get lucky here sometimes if you try and sit at the bar. The bacon wrapped scallops and stuffed oysters go CRAZY
Nice atmosphere with a real buzz when we went in July. Tables need reservation in advance but there was space at the bar, which was nice. I did not love the clam chowder (perhaps it was the dish rather than the execution). But the prawn salad was decent. Perhaps a little pricey for what it is but fairly good restaurant overall.

One of our favorites on the Cape. Make sure you make reservations well in advanced because a lot of people agree lol

Wow! This place was amazing! Didn't have a reservation but was able to get bar seating for two after a short, five minute wait on a Saturday night during the summer around 7pm, though I saw others waiting longer after I was seated. Ordered off the original and specials menu. From the original menu -
Bacon wrapped scallops: amazing! The bacon provides a nice texture contrast to the perfectly cooked scallop. You get five pieces sat open some toast and covered in a nice light white sauce. MUST ORDER!
Meatball appetizer: soft and tender, not too much of a bite but perfectly seasoned and very tasty! If you're looking for something other than seafood, give this a try!
Blackened halibut: super yums! It sits upon cheesy grits, which is a perfect companion to this moist and succulent fish. I honestly wasnt even thinking about getting this dish, but the bartender recommended it and I'm sure glad he did! Highly recommend
Specials menu -
Peach and pomegranate sangria: I could drink gallons of this delectable nectar. Perhaps a touch sweet, but I found this very drinkable and without the usual bitter notes from most other sangrias.
Dave's third day: okay I'm not sure what the name of this drink is (I think it's someone else's name) but it has multiple vodkas with fresh pressed watermelon and lime juice. Honestly, pass this one, this drink did not hit and represented the only thing that I did not care for. I thought it would be refreshing but it was so bitter, maybe I just didn't understand what they were going for.
Seafood carbonara: scallops, shrimp, lobster, pancetta in a cream sauce with noodles. Perfection! Maybe a bit less enjoyable by the end of the meal as you fill up, but those first bites are phenomenal!
The bar area was very dark, but definitely set the vibes so I'm not knocking it. If you can get a reservation, all the better. This is definitely somewhere I'm recommending to anyone visiting Chatham or Lower Cape. As an aside, I heard the oysters Sydney are super good, I can't remember what's on them but people were impressed!
