The overall impression Stars gives is of a high-end dining experience seasoned with a relaxed feel. The presentation of all the food was terrific. The service was quite good. My only quibble is the observation my wife made, which is that the wait staff were dressed like policemen. The ambience was first rate. We look forward to returning

Stars was a very frustrating experience. The expectations were so high and the food was not very good at all. The fish was overcooked and dry and the scallops were dry and overcooked as well. The risotto was overpowered with the taste of fennel. Service was wonderful but the chefs disappointed. The menu was confusing and hard to fully understand. They have lost the understanding of who they are and who they are serving.

An amazing experience! We were celebrating our anniversary and a special birthday . Seated at a beautiful table that overlooked the water. Our server, Dave, was a Rock Star. Full of personality and timed our dinner perfectly! The food was prepared to perfection. Steak was cooked medium rare as requested. Delicious. Scallops were sweet and flavorful. A surprise dessert with writing on it for our anniversary-AND a dessert we ordered again had beautiful writing on it. The manager also came around to check on us, and was very personable. One of our best meals ever.

We stayed on the property for a few days. The Stars restaurant was excellent - we had fish and duck. Both were phenomenal... the desserts were incredible too. Yes its expensive but the food is really good.

I took my husband to Stars for his birthday. The venue is stunning and beautifully decorated but the evening went down from there. We had a hard time understanding our waiters accent, the bread service was stale and our halibut didn't taste good. Lastly we couldn't find one dessert on the menu that sounded appetizing. Such a shame as we expected a much better dining experience at Chatham Bars Innl.

Went with low expectations, based on prior reviews, and those expectations were met. Started with the hostess offering is the worst table in the house, despite a request for a window table when the reservation was made. When I asked about an open table by the window she replied that table is for 4, as was the table she was trying to seat us at. I pointed that out, and became more insistent, and she quickly relented and sat us by the window. It was odd, in two calls related to the reservation they asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We responded we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. They never acknowledged this in any way during our dining experience.
The food was OK but for a $350 check for 2, including one of their least expensive bottles of wine and tip, one expects more. consistent with other reviews, portions were minuscule.
Our white wine was served warm and we had to wait for it to chill in the ice bucket. I started with the yellowfin tuna and my wife had the tomato tartare. Both were good albeit small. I had the halibut and my 4-6 oz portion was a tad dry and overcooked. My wife had the Weygu. That was better. Both of our sides were cold. We passed on dessert. Food definitely not consistent with the price point.
Service, besides the hostess, was good Our waiter Alex was professional, attentive and informative. The room and atmosphere was nice and tastefully appointed.
All in all a disappointment especially given the expense. Stars and CBI have a lot of work to do to align the food with their aspirations and this price point.’
