To begin with, the service was outstanding. Our server was particularly gracious and helpful. The food was outstanding. Soups a little salty but tasty. All was served warm. The ambiance was especially interesting. It was a cold, winter noon, but the atmosphere projected warmth. Have been here before and the place has gotten better in all areas.
We drove about a 1/2 hour to get to restaurant; it was worth the trip. The service was great, spacious and inviting. The food was good my boyfriend is picky when it comes to food. He was pleased with the menu.
Thank goodness we had a reservation! We were in Chatham for First Night. Two days prior they called us to let us know that there was a limited menu at the time of our reservation. We kept the reservation and when we arrived the bar was several people deep and they were not taking walk-ins for dinner. We were seated immediately at a nice corner table. Our waitress Christina was delightful. She made some great recommendations. We ordered some seasonal drinks (which were amazing) and placed our dinner order. Everything came out in a timely manner and was delicious! We can't wait to go back!
Nice atmosphere however all 4 dishes ordered were flavorless-burger (frozen pre packed)Fried chicken all breading not enough honey sauce, Baked Cod w/Ritz crackers minimal with tasteless sauce. Risotto just ok.
Food is ordinary, service was marginal, drinks pedestrian, prices high — and no raw shellfish!
The bartender at night was so disinterested in service. I received my risotto and my wife received her dish before she even brought us napkins and forks. Never asked how our meal was or if we wanted another drink. Never came to us a second time. We stood with our coats on before she even allowed us to pay the bill and another bartender had to assist us. Awful. Really awful.

Had 7:00 reservations and had to wait until 8:00 to sit. I had called to confirm we could order of regular menu vs the pri fix menu and the said yes only to get seated after wait to learn we had to order of price fix. We then waited 45 minutes to receive first course.
The food was below average, low quality and very expensive, both in absolute terms and relative to its quality. The desert, a peach cobbler, was inedible —a dry, chewy cake with no peaches. The service was basic and we sat in the room in the back which has zero character.
Three cheers to Karen the hostess at Wild Goose for her calm demeanor and professionalism on the busy Christmas Stoll! Thank you for taking care of our family-we appreciate you!! Juan Carlos was a terrific waiter who made us feel right at home. Great night!
Great ambiance and service. Food overall was good, but salad was soggy, wet. Made day before? Salmon cooked perfectly. Lobster garlic bread with cheese can be a meal!
Continental breakfast good- I enjoyed the hard boiled eggs and cheese chunks for protein too balance muffin.

Amazing gluten free options - including calamari and lobster bisque. Service was warm and professional. Everything tasted amazing.

If I could give it a 0 I would. One bartender on a Saturday afternoon servicing 40 bar seats plus the restaurant drinks. Bartender looks like he hates the world. Stay away at all costs!

Atmosphere was very nice, different seating options & a large bar. Food selections were good although I expected a higher quality than what we were served. Service was very slow. Not sure why- the place was busy but the wait staff were few & far between.

Going off-season is a great experience. It's not crowded and the service and food are great!
Just happened to walk in looking for drinks and a snack and really enjoyed our time talking to Christina whose suggestions on food and drink were greatly appreciated. Giving us local information on Chatham was fantastic. So much fun and will certainly be back.thanks for all your help, Christina!!!
