pretty expensive but hear me out… i had the most incredible pasta dish here i think i have ever had and that shocked me. seriously, for a seafood hotspot i was SHOCKED at how good the pasta was! like, it was INSANELY GOOD. garlic, spinach, tomato, butter, and chili flakes. my goodness. i haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since!
I've been going here for 60+ years. Very disappointed now. Pricing of meals is # 1. Too bad, but i guess they're doing what they have to do.
Service and the facility are great. I most likely will never go back. I want to always remember this place as the way it was when I had my first lobster there.

Since reopening, The Back Door at the Homeport has been one of the island’s casual dining treasures. There’s nothing like a tasty lunch on the patio on a sunny afternoon. Better yet, the fried chicken sandwich was squarely one of the best on the island: a juicy chicken thigh perfectly battered and fried then served with jalapeño slaw.
