The soft serve is the best I've had. They offer dipped in chocolate , chocolate peanut butter or cherry . Two line's, one for ice cream and one for food. The line goes fast.

The Menemsha Galley is exactly what you would expect from a walk up eatery in a small fishing village. Beautiful views from the back porch (try to sit on the benches to the left), and food done just right. If you're looking for gourmet, head to Edgartown to be charged more. If what you want is a quick lunch that's tasty, with fishing village atmosphere and well priced (for MV), this is your spot!

Tiny sandwiches for 15 dollars. I meant less than 3oz filling on a smaller than grocery store size hotdog roll. The view in the back room is literally someone’s bay backyard. You have plenty of those in, say like Hingham… and the water isn’t clean or far viewing. They charge this price because there’s no other place for you to eat. Super lazy and sleazy.

I’ve been coming to The Galley since the 1980s… this year, after spending about $50 on ice cream, we asked them for a small cup of water for my 3 year old. They insisted that we’d have to pay 27 cents for it.I was more confused than angry but that’s just an abysmal business practice.

Good spot, everything is simple but good. Swordfish sandwich is highly recommended. Clam chowder and lobster rolls also very good.

This is an amazing restaurant and a real staple of Chilmark. I have been getting the same order of fries and a fish sandwich here for 13 years and have yet to be disappointed by it. Would highly recommend!!!

Worth trying if you are not a seafood lover, has plenty of good options (chicken, hotdog, burgers,..etc) … we tried the cheese burger and we loved it (almost 10 dollars each), u can add fries but with extra charge. We got Ice-cream with hot chocolate fudge and it was delicious. There is an indoor seating area (not really big) but the view is amazing. Its mainly take-out. Worth trying. 6 mins walking from the port.Parking: Mainly street parking, however there is side resturant parking but usually busy.

Do yourself a favor and grab a burger with fries, sit on the porch and let the scenery wash your worries away. Bonus points if you grab a soft-serve swirl with peanutbutter crackle and walk down the dock
Great lobster roll! Walk around the back & grab a seat on the patio

As the name implies, this is a down to earth food provider. The best item is their basic lobster roll (which contains a sizable amount of fresh and tasty lobster meat. The other items are good but not exceptional.Had the crab cake side order (two cakes) which were mostly crab meat. Another good benefit is that the view from the back (dining area) is picturesque

Delicious, casually charming window-service food and ice cream. The kind of local business humans are thrilled to support.

Seasonal and super cute spot down on the water for chowder, lobster rolls, ice cream and more. Open 11-3 daily in season. Staff were super friendly and service was pretty quick even though the line was 10-15 minutes to wait and order. No matter though given the views all around! The lobster roll was perfection with just the right touch of mayo.
