There's not a donut shop that I know of within 100 miles that comes close to the quality of these donuts and other baked goods.The donuts are fresh, extremely yummy, and there's a wonderful variety. The Boston cream were written up in the Boston Globe and you can see why. But the glazed and other assorted flavors are also excellent. There are chain donut shops nearby, and I can't understand why anyone would buy a donut at the chain store when they could get one at town donut....read full review
You can't find a better doughnut place around. There's Town Donut Shop, and then there's everyone else. This place is the standard for quality doughnuts in Southern New England. The only other shops that even come close to comparison would be Ma's and USA Homemade. Even so, Town Donut Shop takes the torch and leaves everyone else behind. 5 star rating, all day and everyday.

Donuts are amazing but do not expect happy and positive service. If you are a longtime customer you know that. One time I parked and was blocking the drive thru. There really was not great signage and the cook hung out the window and yelled “don’t block my drive thru!” I still continue to do business with them because the donuts are that good! Cash only!
