I went to Champney's for their Thanksgiving dinner event on November 27th. It was a prix fixe menu including an appetizer, entree, and dessert for 60 dollars per person. Not a bad price in this day and age and turns out it was worth it! It was just two of us, so for appetizers we had the pumpkin bisque and the chevre & greens; for entrees the turkey dinner and prime rib; and lastly for dessert the Indian pudding and apple crisp. Everything was delicious! We also got cocktails...
Made lunch reservation for the dining room and was accommodated.\nVery nice atmosphere and outstanding service.\nThe fish and chips and quiche, along with the delicious clam chowder made it an enjoyable stop.\nA drink at the comfortable tavern bar was a nice finish.
Lunch was ok. Caesar salad was good but quiche was tiny. Wife's fish and chips were cold when she got them. Made the mistake of ordering the pickle martini which tasted like a glass of pickle brine which for some reason had sweet pickles in it.
