“We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

“We had the rueben and some chicken wings. Both yummy. Great fries and not too many. Hot and crunchy. It was a rainy night and the AC was blowing on us. I'm guessing it's a good atmosphere for a warm summer day but for us cold, not helped by a table of heavily drinking golfers who were loud, and super crude. The hard surfaces amplified their noise. We should have sat with everyone else at the other end of the restaurant with everyone else. It was too late by the time we figured it out. Staff was awesome. Tara and Mike.“

My go to dinner is always the clam chowder and a plate of the best tuna sashimi ever!!

“It took me a while to try this place after I saw they removed tempeh and vegan cheese from the menu. No need for those with all the other scrumptious vegan fillings- you can load up a bowl or burrito with any and all vegan fillings- tons of vegetables, black and refried beans, and brown rice. “I’ve been dreaming about eating here again since I came here for dinner two days ago.
All of our dishes — Shrimp & Scallops with Garlic Sauce, lo mein, fried rice, and a vegetarian dish — were exceptional.
Fresh, crisp veggies in dishes, light garlicky sauté sauces without the heavy after-feel — felt healthy!
And the massive lunch portions today were such a good deal.
Bright, breezy, clean spot, friendly service too. And we were happy we could dine-in. I feel like driving to the Cape just for this place!“
