I always look forward to a chance to eat at the Silver Spoon for breakfast. It's the slabs of brisket. I either get it as a side if I want to have it with foods that are not part of the breakfast combination, or I dive into the breakfast combination with great gusto. The service is always friendly and helpful, even when they are busy. The dining room is unpretentious and there are also tables out front in warm weather. The Silver spoon is a packed place we went to for breakfast while in the area. I got the Irish Benedict. Everyday of the meal was excellent except the corn beef was from a can and had a slight sour taste to it. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food arrived minutes after we ordered it. I would go again. Just not order the corn beef.
This was an excellent experience. We got here for an early lunch and there was no wait but it was packed. The staff here were very friendly and professional, constantly on point with our needs. The food was delicious. They had free street parking right outside. I am looking forward to going back again soon!
