The oysters were delicious…all local…and the presentation was fantastic! Definitely recommend if in Edgartown! We even took the shells (asked of course) because the were so pretty!
Excellent food and friendly staff. Oysters were fresh and point, halibut ceviche was spicy and crisp, mussels were rich and enticing, and the chowder was one of the best bowls I’ve ever had.
We had a group of seven and everyone had something different. Everyone agreed that the food was outstanding along with the service. I had the special which was opah fish. It was prepared uniquely and was delicious.

19 Raw Oyster Bar & Prime Steakhouse is one of the best spots on Martha’s Vineyard and the best restaurant on the island. The food, service, and atmosphere are all dialed in and check every box. Guests enjoy excellent fresh & delicious seafood, with a variety of flavorful oysters beautifully served. The steak is the best ever, the swordfish is delicious, and the scallops stir fry is also a standout. The cocktails are on point, and the wine list is excellent without being too expensive. The staff knows what they’re doing, with great menu recommendations and personable service that makes nights feel special, including dessert with a sparkler. Dining outside on a beautiful evening is a wonderful experience. This is definitely one of the best seafood meals in a long time, and guests will absolutely be back soon. If visiting Edgartown, don’t walk — run to this amazing place.
