I am the most picky person ever and I found everything about this place amazing! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service (Will) was OUTSTANDING!

The service was great for our party of six. We started with two dozen oysters which were excellent. The Tuna Nicoise was chosen by 3 in our party and it was great- lots of seared tuna, great potatoes, and a refreshing salad. The shrimp pasta special and the bay scallop special were also fantastic. The haddock tacos also did not disappoint. We finished with homemade plum ice cream and homemade whipped cream over a plum tart/galette. The early evening views were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We were here for one lunch and two dinners. We started with a great lunch of chowder and salad. So, we decided to come back for dinner. Hmmm...Well we ordered, among other things, a coconut shrimp. It was not coconut and it was terrible. Like a cheap puffed-up dry shrimp with no flavor and the shrimp almost cold in places. We complained to the waiter and he just said he would pass it on. No offer to take it back or explain. We ordered dessert and it was clearly reheated and a scoop of an Ice-cream had been scooped and then frozen as such, it was hard as a rock. The next night (yes we returned for the view) we asked why an iceberg lettuce ($24) salad was essentially double the other salads and did not even have any protein. Were we mistaken? The waitress told us she does not make the prices, True that... but no good. Overall, unless you chose very specific items you already knew were good, this is not a great place, except for the view. And the wait staff is either not well trained or makes up answers as they go.

The food here is delicious, good portions and presented well. The prices are reasonable. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is great.

The location is fabulous, staff amazing and food delicious! We have not had one off night since visiting here. Sadly, we are moving and will be too far to visit. However, for the next few final months we plan to get in as much as we can, while we can!

There is no reason why this place should not have a Michelin Star. The food is exquisit, the chef knows exactly what he is doing and what he wants to achieve. Throughly recommend visiting and enjoying. The Bluefish Pate is something you’d really like to try.

With Gluten Free options!

The place is quite cool, they sat us next to some people who were shouting a lot, and we asked to be moved. The waitress Althea was super friendly and changed our table to a quieter one, and then she took great care of us.

I had several gluten-free options, they already told me they were careful with cross contamination, so a celiac can eat without a problem.

We ordered lobster salad, main course salmon adapted for celiacs, and fried clams (with gluten) for my partner.

Everything was very good and the price was good. With which we were very happy.

Just had an absolutely lovely evening at CK Pearl. I am often on the lookout for a combination of excellent food without pretense, beautiful views without premium prices, and service that doesn’t feel stiff. Our server felt like an old friend. She was so genuine and down to earth, and the food was just outstanding. We were so lucky to be seated by the windows overlooking Essex salt marshes, which are so gorgeous. To say I’d recommend CK Pearl feels like an understatement. If you can spend an evening there, you can count your blessings.

Try to go at least twice a year. Overlooking the inEssex River, enjoying the boat traffic, with fried clams I think easily competes with the place across the street with the long lines and wait times. A nice fresh kale Caesar salad made me feel less guilty chowing on the clams and crispy hot fries. Beautiful Labor Day weekend day today.

There were 4 of us dining and three of us had very good dinners, with no complaints. I ordered a lobster roll and should have sent it back. It was tough, tasteless and rather than all large chunks, there were many little, stringy pieces in there. Not at all worth the price. The chef gave us a complimentary dessert to share as service recovery, which was nice.

Great food, not in that area often, got takeout but this time was worth a review. From the size of the smoked chicken wings to the pellegrino water that was too big to drive with & to the childrens cup they were nice enough to give me. Got quite a laugh out of it as did a few people in the other lane. Seated is obviously the way to go there, i just came from hiking so i was a little dressed down & hungry. Whole menus outstanding

Lovely little restaurant overlooking beautiful marshlands. Fantastic little town. My so ordered the steak tips- wife lobster salad and clam chowder and daughter the fish and chips. I had the coconut shrimp which might just be the best version of it that I’ve ever had.

Parking: Free parking just across the street.

The restaurant has water view of the canal next to it and you can sit indoors or outdoors. Nice service, Menu has some good choices like fish tacos and lobster egg holandeise. Not expensive.Good size plates.
