Delicious food. Norwegian Pancakes are hands down. The waitress was all alone that day but she was still the friendliest person even though she was running around. Definitely can't recommend this place enough.
Loved the french toast and eggs Benedict. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Yummiest food "evah"! New Bedford scallops at their best, offeredd along with many delicious alternatives. Especially enjoyed the back room -- a little quieter.
Fantastic food and service!! Love the BYOB
This was the first time I've ever been there. It's a quaint little place, up the street from board the ferry that takes you to Martha's Vineyard. I can't remember the name of the woman who served us, but she was wonderful. The food was very delicious!!! I will definitely go there again!!
It’s been well over 25 years since I’ve had breakfast here and it’s just as good as I remember it. The omelettes are always amazing the Norwegian pancakes are to die for!! ?
Best breakfast around.. especially the Norwegian Pancakes are my favorite.
Nice service, excellent coffee!!
We had excellent food and great service. B.Y.O.B. I visit frequently.
Very fresh and crispy Fish and Chips. Cole slaw and tarter sauce outstanding too!

This restaurant never disappoints! The food is always fresh and delicious! Wait staff is great! Love this restaurant!!
On Wednesday Sept. 21st, I brought an artist friend from Singapore for lunch at Margaret's. We immediately ordered clam chowder; then, while looking over the menu, I suggested we share an order of baked scallops. She was reluctant, saying she had eaten scallops in Singapore, but agreed after I explained to her the importance of scallops to New Bedford. We were both pleased with the chowder, then the scallops came out. Included were fresh cooked string beans and mashed potatoes. She was amazed with the scallops, saying they melted in her mouth. The entire meal was delicious. After finishing, she asked for an order of chowder to go so she could give it to the person whose home she was staying at. Then, when we got in the car, she told me that this was one of the 3 or 4 best meals she has ever had in her life.
So cute, very fresh seafood, sides were great and cooked perfectly
This great little corner restaurant makes you feel right at home. But with better food. I was staying near the harbor area in Fairhaven, and I stopped in for breakfast. The coffee was good, and the service friendly. I ordered the Norwegian pancakes (like a thick crepe) with sausage and a fruit cup. The sausage was of the brown and serve variety, but I didn’t mind that. Everything was delicious and filling. I recommend you stop by if you’re in the area.
