This place is a diamond in the rough. Small, intimate neighborhood place with great food and great service. Definitely will be back when I am here again! Almond encrusted Haddock with pesto was fresh and amazing.
You know you've found a 'go-to' when you suggest a restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews that the 'finicky' couple in our party said this was one of their all time favorites! And were they right!!! Seafood entrees were among the best dinners ever and an incredible value. Weekends are busy; closed M-Tu. When you go, you'll be glad you did!!!
Nostalgia brings us back time and again periodically, and never disappoints. Both the fish/beef servings are perfection. Modest location in back seaport area, so calm and placid on non workdays. Great area to relax and walk nearby after meal to view the ocean at Phoenix State Park/Beach, and stroll out on the utterly, spectacularly beautiful Federal New Bedford/Fairhaven Harbor Flood Control Barrier to view back into a stretched out panorama of both cities and both commercial...read full review
