We were in town for my brother's wedding and our hotel recommended The Little Village Cafe. We were a bigger group, but they still sat us quickly, waitress took time to explain the Portuguese meat, that I was unfamiliar with. Nice to see some less popular breakfast foods, like corn beef hash! And the homefries were amazing!
Tried a breakfast plate at Little Village Cafe for the first time. Went with the cacolia eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce over an English muffin with home fries. Thought it was pretty good. Cup of coffee was good as well. Service was good.
Overall, my experience at the little village cafe was enjoyable. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was tasty. While I wasn't particularly fond of the home fries, they didn't detract from the overall meal experience. However, the service could have been better. Our waitress seemed disengaged, never making eye contact or checking in to see if we needed anything else or how we were enjoying our meal. Despite this, I still plan to return because I appreciated the ambiance...
