My sister and I just had dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. Our waiter Dylan was the BEST server ever and made the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend coming here - will be coming again!
Beautiful inside! Excellent food, staff are all very nice! Cocktails were delicious as well. Highly recommend!
Liz, the manager was excellent to deal with regarding my son's food allergies. The waitress was also amazing. Because of this, we were able to dine out as a family, whereas we usually are unable to. It was a great experience and we will be sure to be back!

Based on the reviews, Tavern in the Square is a really lovely spot in a nice new facility, which is a wonderful redo of an old Chinese place. The atmosphere is great, wonderful, and relaxing. There are 2 bars, one inside and one on the porch outside area. The service is very pleasant, with servers who are efficient, attentive, friendly, and funny. The food is excellent, great, generous, and amazing. Specific meals mentioned include the guacamole and chips, lobster fritters, fish and chips, General Tso's chicken, dessert donuts, and a breakfast burrito. Drinks are good. The only downsides are that seating was somewhat slow, and prices are a bit much. The place is full and busy, and reservations may be needed for lunch and dinner during busy periods.
