“We had a great experience at Carluccio’s in Forestdale tonight. From our food, to the owner Carlo personally visiting our table, we could not have had a better dining experience. Carlo’s hospitality didn’t end there. He danced with my 94 year old grandmother to her favorite song Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”, performed beautifully by David Holbert. Thank you Carlo and David.”

Website has hours 12-8 on Tuesday updated 7 weeks ago (could maybe understand if it was 7 months). It has a sandwich bar, soups, salads, baked goods, fruits, veggies, etc. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Everyone LOVES the bar scene for a reason - but lines out the door start at 430 before they open! Their craft cocktails are memorable and their wine list is delightful. “Don't sleep on this amazing spot in Buzzard's Bay. They have a lengthy specials menu, and every special we tried was amazing. They post the weekly specials menu on social media daily which is awesome too. We also ordered the clam chowder & birria tacos off the standard menu which were a hit. The food was so good we inhaled it before taking any pics. They also offer a selection of boozy espresso drinks, which aren't as readily available down Cape so it was a pleasant surprise. Staff & management were all so friendly, offered food fave suggestions, and stopped by to check in on how we were enjoying our meals. Will definitely be back!!”

I met the owner Lee what a fabulous guy him and I talked about the old days and about the old Boston back in the 80s which really wasn't too long, I didn't have time to eat lunch today so I kept working at the end of the day he insisted that I eat something expressing his concern. He gave me a dish to take home absolutely fabulous the rice dish with the shrimp carrots peas chicken was so good I can still taste it I highly recommend going to see him if you're in the area feel free to stop you won't be disappointed it's so damn good.”

“First let's clarify, I don't write reviews because I am hard to please as a first generation Italian and restaurant owner. I was blown away every step of the meal! We sat at the bar and our bartender was friendly and promptly served us our drinks. I loved the complexity of my "Head in the Clouds" tequila cocktail. Then I was so surprised to find they had fried ricotta stuffed squash blossoms, delicious! Something I would never expect to find on the Cape! THEN I had the Bronzino fish entree and it was AMAZING!! Sauce was so good, fish was fresh, perfectly prepared! The arancini were delish too! If you haven't been to this hidden gem, you must take my word that it is so worth the trip to Wareham.”

“Osteria La Civetta is one of our favorite restaurants! It's a cozy, intimate and romantic atmosphere, which we love. The lights are dim and the decor is unique. The tables aren't too close together so we felt like we could have a private conversation. They have a nice selection of Italian wines. I selected the Primitivo, which was pretty good. The menu is small, but still includes many great options. I had the tortelloni with butternut sage sauce. It was great! The pasta is all made fresh in-house. I also had the affogato for dessert and it was delicious. I highly recommend! We can't wait to go back!”
