Had wanted to try this place for a long time. Had an excellent hot eggplant sandwich. Seating is either at a long shared table with my terribly comfortable chairs or at a counter with backless stools. Not so much a dining experience as a really good place to get a (not terribly fast, but excellent) sandwich.
One of my favorite small businesses of all time. Their sandwiches are amazing with a perfect ratio of filling to bread. I order the prosciutto baguette with pesto every time and highly recommend. There may be a wait for your meal but perfect isn’t always fast. I usually order online ahead of time.
I shop here regularly. The people and the food are exquisite. I feel so blessed that they are in my backyard. The olive oil is the only oil I use. The cheeses and bread are all delicious. Salads and sandwiches are always great. And the aroma of the place is a joy to behold.
