Do not get food here. Here is a photo of the kitchen (sorry about the poor photo quality); it is cluttered, poorly lit, and looked filthy. If every surface is being used as storage, I guarantee it isn't cleaned on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. And where there is open clutter, there are rodents. I actually cannot even tell the difference between supplies and garbage in this kitchen. I got a coffee and got out of there as quickly as I could.
Also, others would make this place seem charming in a quirky sort of way; it's not, they just haven't cleaned it. Clutter everywhere, even in the dining area.

amazing food. charming place
Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is eclectic antique curio shop. This was my first visit here, and I came specifically for breakfast. I had the special Apple Pancakes, that had an apple compote mixed in with the batter, and included some sliced banana and berry compote as well. The pancakes had a slightly crispy exterior which added a wonderful inexpected texture. The food and the coffee were both very good. The service was not real good, however. They seem to be lacking well trained or experienced wait staff, as things like not bringing butter with the pancakes, not refilling coffee, and not coming for payment of the check in a timely manner after bringing the check. The men's restroom was not clean, and the fixtures were dirty.

Such a lovely experience in this unique breakfast /brunch stop. The homemade food was so fresh and delicious. We ordered the asparagus guyere cheese quiche and homemade cherry pancakes. The charming decor with eclectic antiques, books and furniture is so warm and creates a charming and interesting experience.

An amazing place! Incredibly creative and welcoming host — a true professional. The food was unbelievably delicious. We arrived at the restaurant after it had already closed, but the owner, Craig, who happened to be outside at the time, insisted that we come in and have dinner. He personally prepared us an incredible meal and treated us to wine. Craig is an exceptionally generous and kind person. Everything in this place is made with love and warmth. It was an unforgettable dinner. Thank you, Craig!

A wonderful café that embodies within the timelessness of the tiny town that surrounds it. It’s full of antiquities and brimming with 19th century personality. The owner, Craig Bero, personally tends to patrons and runs the kitchen and coffee bar. He is friendly, dedicated, a first-rate cook, and a delight to talk to. Definitely recommend the quiche, which comes in a huge plate served with greens, seasoned potatoes, assorted fruits, and mixed veggies in a delicious tomato based sauce. Coffee, both milk based and American, are wonderful as well. Pleasant and Main is definitely a must if visiting the area!

So glad to have stumbled upon this spot! The atmosphere, food and service are all stellar. A day later, and we’re still talking about the special strawberry rhubarb pancakes. I can tell no one leaves here hungry! Incredibly cozy and charming both inside and out— the backyard garden is very neat.
Highly recommend, food is innovative and extra special. It's always a delightful experience at Pleasant and Main. Especially pleased to have had a selection that included ramps.
Antique store vibe, old school charm, delicious food and lots of shopping...
We were a group of 6 and ordered a lot of different dishes - all of them were great. The specials were also very tasty!
My wife ended up buying a couple of antiques as well...
Highly recommended! Also, if you are going in a busy time of the year, then get a reservation!
Lovely place to sit and look around. Food is always a great experience
