for our dinner we were deciding between joy bowl and another place but decided on jb. soooo glad we did!!!! food was delicious and fresh. a/c was working great on a scorching hot day. best part was the service we received. it was our first experience at a jb location so we were in need of some guidance. we were helped by a wonderfully patient and knowledgeable worker. we frequent the hadley area often and have struggled in deciding a place to eat. from now on no more struggle.

It's just ok. I cannot understand what people find in these places. Quite a regular type of salad bar with cold rice or noodles resembling Hawaiian dishes. Simplicity and mediocrity. Yes, if you mix stuff up it can provide taste.

Frustrating experience. Ordered online pickup with an acai bowl and poke bowl - I get home 15 minutes away and realize I only have the poke bowl. Tried to call, but their phone is disconnected. Drive back - turns out they don't do acai bowls anymore (so then why is it on the website?). Cashier said they had canceled it off the order, though they never told me so when I checked out. They weren't even apologetic. Wasted 35 minutes for nothing. Poke bowl was admittedly delicious.

Joy Bowl Poke is a poke shop located in the heart of Hadley's mall area, with a decently sized shop with plently of seating and a nice atmosphere.
Staff are friendly, they are quite knowledgeable on the ingredients, packed orders well and made adjustments as needed.
The food is quite good. They have an option to build your own, or choose from premade bowls. They make each bowl fresh for you, and the portion sizes are generous for the price. The bowls taste quite good, and the ingredients are fresh and taste good together.
Overall, a solid place to eat at while in the area.

Tried to order food ahead of time online, but when I went to pick it up there was only one employee working and three customers in line in front of me ordering in store. I waited over 5 minutes but since I was on a timed meal break I had to leave without my food. Very disappointed. I understand staffing is difficult but the if the store can't fulfill online orders they need to turn off the option.
