“There was a miscommunication about the bakery's hours, and I genuinely thought we were going to be without our Easter order. But Emily, the manager, and her father John, the owner, did something I truly didn't expect — they made it work anyway. They went out of their way to make sure we still got everything we needed, and on Easter Sunday of all days. That kind of customer care is rare. It would have been so easy for them to simply say "sorry, we're closed" — but instead they showed up for us in a way we won't forget. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Our pies were fresh and perfectly made, and the carrot birthday cake — a special request from the birthday boy himself — was absolutely stunning. Everything tasted like it was baked with real love and care, and it made our Easter celebration (and birthday!) that much more special. “Delectable Desires is an absolute gem of a local bakery! The baked goods are fantastic, but what truly makes this place special is the owner, Carlene. She is charming, delightful to talk to, and incredibly helpful and informative when it comes to planning special orders in advance. I have ordered a variety of pies from her - the bourbon pecan and strawberry rhubarb are my personal favorites. My family, who are very critical eaters, loves her pies so much that they ask me to pick up her pies for special occasions. Most recently, I tried the blueberry muffins, and they were perfection: soft and fluffy on the inside with a wonderful sugary crunch on the outside. It is such a joy to have a high-quality bakery like this in the neighborhood. I’m already looking forward to ordering a cake next, as she has so many enticing flavors available. It’s wonderful to find a place where the talent in the kitchen is matched by the kindness behind the counter. We’re lucky to have her in the neighborhood.“

“WOW !! let me tell YALL ABOUT THESE PATTIES !!! i’m talking about lip smackkinnn good ! the pattie’s are WELL PRICED, flaky , crispy, soft, juicy, hot, fresh .. i mean you can’t tell me NOTHING!! and the bread rolls are HANDMADE (as are the pattie’s) but the bread is also fluffy and hot & it absorbs butter sooo nicely. i went one day, then the following day and then the day after that !! it’s a small bakery with a juicing shop attached. i ordered a dozen beef patties and i put them in the fridge.. After about 5-7 mins in the toaster oven it was good as new !! they have a loyal customer in me. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“
