I wish I could give a 5 star review. The Log Cabin deserves 5 stars for the stunning views, delicious food and friendly, helpful staff.The staff did a beautiful job arranging all the decorations provided to them.The reason I cannot give them 5 stars is on the day of my daughter’s wedding the guest were to arrive at 2:00 , get a welcome drink and proceed to the patio to enjoy the view and music we had arranged to be playing. Instead of this happening our guests were stuck in the hot stuffy hallway waiting for the venue to open. Somewhere along the line there was a breakdown in communication. I found this embarrassing and felt the need to apologize to our guests. This being said I would recommend the Log Cabin but I would double and triple check your timeline with the event coordinator of the day.

We got married at The Upper Vista at The Log Cabin last weekend and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue. From beginning to end, our wedding was supported and taken care of by a team of consummate professionals (special shout-out to our coordinator, Nicole!). We had a nor’easter roll through during our wedding and The Log Cabin staff pivoted so quickly and efficiently to hold our ceremony indoors. While we were disappointed in the weather, they made our ceremony still feel special and wonderfully decorated.
We do not live in New England, so having the all-inclusive aspect was fantastic for us. Not to mention that the food was delicious! Not having to worry about separate contracts for things like tables, silverware, linens, etc. was a massive load off our shoulders. The entire time we planned our wedding, we felt that things were organized and that our event was important. We even had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Delaney House.

Through the whole day, the staff went above and beyond. Every single person we interacted with was kind, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. They handled all the little details so seamlessly that we were able to just relax and soak it all in.
Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was, how smooth everything felt, and how amazing the food was! We’ll always be so grateful to The Log Cabin team for helping bring our wedding day to life — it was truly unforgettable.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! We had our wedding here this past Friday and it was beyond words. Especially the staff and view. Amanda was our coordinator and she was so helpful from start to finish with our process. Josh was our day of coordinator so he directed everyone everywhere, got us all where we needed to be on time and was super sweet. Hanna was our main server. Always asked us if we needed anything, super communicative when it came to packing up/decorating, kept my husband and I fed.. overall, would HIGHLY recommend the Upper Vista/Southhampton room as it was STUNNING with the sunset!!

The care you showed us was unmatched. You didn’t just do your jobs you poured love into every action, and we all felt it.
The views at The Log Cabin gave us the most breathtaking photos, the ambiance was flawless, and the positive energy in the room was undeniable. Not one person left without commenting on the love, respect, and joy that filled the space. So many guests told me this was “the wedding of the century,” and honestly it’s going to be hard to top!
From the bartenders (10/10) to the waitstaff (10/10), every team member made our celebration feel effortless and magical. Your professionalism, kindness, and dedication created a night we’ll never forget.
If I could relive this day 100 more times, I absolutely would. Thank you to everyone at The Log Cabin and D. Hotel Suites & Spa for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. I am beyond grateful.

I've been here for prom twice, weddings multiple times, and my wife and I anniversaries, wonderful place! I do wish, though, that eventually they'd update the place for the price they charge, but otherwise, a continued cherished location for get togethers!
