Excellent for enjoying time with family and friends in a pleasant atmosphere both inside and outside the restaurant. I recommend stopping by and sampling any of the food outside the restaurant at the tables or on the sofas they have for customers...
Stopped in for dinner to see what’s changed with new ownership and we were thoroughly disappointed. The food was really good but the service was horrible. We sat at the bar but the bartender was more interested in cashing out her tips than paying attention to my wife and I. Very disappointing.
Great Placebo to eat, nothing fancy, but rallye frech and deliciously prepared. And they have a 5 pages long beer list to choose from.

The Horse Shoe Pub offers a cozy ambience with a decent variety of dishes. The spicy chicken & vegetables & egg soup is a perfect blend of sweet & spicy, while the chicken pot pie is loaded with chicken and has a flaky crust. Service is quick, but they only serve Pepsi and root beer. The Guinness Beef Stew is well-seasoned with tender beef and a crispy pastry top. The atmosphere is great, and the food is reasonably priced. Many dishes are delivered very fast, but customers may need to ask for silverware, napkins, and ketchup, as these are not always provided automatically. The pub features an impressive beer list with a huge selection of beers on tap, including Belgian, Bavarian, local, IPAs, and standard beers. The sandwiches are also a highlight, well above what one might expect at a typical bar, making it a favorite for many. During Oktoberfest, special German dishes like wurst, beef stroganoff, and saurbraten are available, and the dessert tray with covered selections, including black forest cake, is very popular. The spicy apple sauce meatloaf is tasty, but some may prefer asking for the applesauce on the side. Overall, the food is satisfactory, and the desserts are yummy, though some dishes lack that extra flair to make them exceptional.
